Is anyone out there using version 1.10 or newer of MeetMe Conferencing? I am somewhat confused that my vendor is telling me that V 1.10 is the newest version, but when I go to the Unify/Siemens course outline they refer to v 2.0. Does anyone have v 2.0 of the 1U MeetMe system?
If you have v 1.10 of the system there is an option to enable the automatic conference aging and deletion and some of the reporting functions and archiving. In the documentation it says "if you have enabled the optional extended features you will be able to put expiration dates on your conferences", etc.... I cannot find ANY reference on how to enable those additional features in the system. It tells me everything I can do once they are enabled, but I can't find anything on HOW to turn that on. I have looked through all of the menus, and I have connected into the serial port and booted into the base OS, and I cannot find any reference there either.
I'm asking my vendor who sold it to me and they are giving me the impression they haven't really done (m)any of these before and they haven't got a clue. I'm trying to get them to ask Unify/Siemens because auto-aging of old conferences is a big deal to me - if the option is there I want it turned on.
I have the main system software disk for 1.10 and it has an updates directory. I've asked the vendor if he did the install of the software on the disk, and he says as far as he knows he doesn't have to do that. I suspect there is a firmware update on that disk that needs to be installed...
