Below is the problem and fault finding that has taken place so far. To put the fault simply; when Fran Best sends a Meeting Request an error message appears saying 'Debbie Curran cannot be located', this user is an ex-employee and has been deleted from the system? Does anyone have any pointers or have experienced the same type of problem? Many Thanks
Problem Description:
Fran Best, sent meeting to group , gets an error saying Debbie Curran cannot be located. Debbie is an ex-employee.
19/02/2002 14:56:24 Davinder called AXA - this problem occurs only when trying to send a meeting request to Karen Hall.
12/02/2002 15:49:45 When creating a meeting request the users must be using a 'group' already setup. Need to confirm this, or whether this happens even if selecting individual mail accounts?
04/02/2002 14:53:09 Receive a call back from Davinder. This is affecting any user that sends a meeting request, have asked him to check the Delegates option on Frans login. Needs further investigate.
23/01/2002 08:55:44 Possible Fix. I have left a message for Fran to call me. Possible resolution; Remove the delegate permissions: 1. On Tools menu, click Options. 2. Click the Delegates tab. 3. Click the entry for the user who is no longer in the global address list, and then click remove. 4. Click OK.
14/01/2002 16:42:20 Fran Best has called back - the bounce back error message only occurs in meeting requests, and does happen to other users as well sending a request to Karen Halls mailbox.
14/01/2002 14:11:41 Checked mailbox - there are no alternate delivery recipients in Karen Halls mailbox and no reference to a Debbie Curran.
14/01/2002 13:20:28 When sending meeting request to Karen Hall - bouncing back with message cannot find user Debbie Curran.
04/01/2002 14:32:19 This might be what you would get if an alternate recipient had been provided in the delivery options tab of the mailbox, but I have checked and this is not the case. This could never be the case anyway as Debbie Curran does not have a mailbox. When you delete a mailbox, all cross references to it also disappear. The only way this could be happening is if user has set up her own contacts list or distribution list. Please check how user is sending emails.
04/01/2002 12:39:10 When Meeting Request is sent to Karen Hall you get a reply saying Debbie Curran does not exist.
03/01/2002 10:53:52 There is no mailbox for Debbie Curran so therefore she could not still be in a distribution list unless this user has created a mailing list of her own.
