I have a user who is a secratery to a CEO, I guess other people in her department also use her as secratery. These other people tend to ask her to set up meetings for them. Is there a way for her to set up the meeting from her calender so it dosen't appear on the her calender. I know i could go and add her as a delegate, But i was just wandering if there was another way?

Thanks for the help

JMoore64,

You did not state what system you are using??

If it is a MS network, and you are using Schedule+ then each individual that wants her to set up meetings for them can delagate her as an additional user to their schedule. Schedule+ will then send invitations to each invitee that must be accepted/declined and these reaponses will be sent to the meeting requester. This will be whom ever she was acting as a delagate for.

Hope this helps

JMoore64,

I don't recall exactly where Schedule+ is bundled, I think it is part of Exchange/Outlook and not the Office Suite.

You need to determine the version of Outlook that you are using, prior to 2002 the caledar applet was Schedule+, from 2002 to current I believe the correct terminnology is Office Assistance. The same type of functions are available while the UI has changed.

I just doubled checked. Sorry it's office 2002 (XP). I'm lost, Is Schedule+ part of the office calender?

JMoore64,

The scheduler is contained within the OutLook package and as stated the functions are mostly the same.

From my first post:

Changing Schedule+ to whatever the new moniker is these steps are what needs to be done.

Is this a MS Server network? And are you using MS Exchange Server?

outlook/exchange.

If the secretary has access to the others' calendars, she can Open Shared Calendar in Outlook, create an appointment in the other user's calendar and then invite people.
