I'm curious to know if anyone has run into issue where you cannot reset the passcode on the Meet-me VDN. An "in-use" condition comes up when no one is in the call.

I have had this happen 1 time. I had to do a "reset meet-me (VDN number)"

I seen it a few times....

You must issue the following command to clear it:

reset meet-me-vdn xxxx (xxxx being the actual vdn number)

Thanks,

We use the meet conf for about 4 calls per day.
I have been just leaving the password and using the same one all of the time. Which I am starting to think isn't the best, however if I want to change the code per call, would I have to manually go into the vdn/vector after each call and change the password?

Thanks

No. You can set the feature access code and have the conference controller change it with the code...

Thanks,

Thank you for your help everyone.

We use a very nice program called "Automate" that actually runs a script on ASA that changes the password on all my Meet-me VDNs.

Can automate be used to run other system backups ?
Like this magixs ?
