I want to use the meet me function in call manager for other branches who are not running on Call Manager. I have assigned a DDI to the meet me number which works perfectley and they all speak to each other OK.

Is there any way that when this number is called the external user is required to place a PIN number in order to join the meet me call and the initiator of the call can choose to accept or drop the incoming call.

This is a great feature but has some security issues involved with it

How many users can be connected to Meet Me at one time?

There's a service parameter for the max number of conference participants (Maximum Meet-Me Conference Unicast) and the default is 4, but I have mine set at 20. There's also a service parameter for the number of Ad-hoc conference participants as well. You can find this under Service - Service Parameters - pick a CCM server and select the CallManager service - click Advanced - then do a find on the word Conference.

I don't believe there's a way to add a PIN before entering the conference; the security holes in the Meet-Me conferences has been discussed ad nauseum on this forum before...
