I have set up a Generic SIP phone to be used as an analog set through a Mediatrix C710 and all works well except when I dial a FAC (*68 to turn on MWI as an example), any digit dialed after the * creates a fast busy (not allowed). If I change the FAC to 68, it works fine. Any suggestions as I would like to continue using * as leading digit in FAC's. I have proven it to be the Mediatrix as *68 works fine on a SIP softphone and a regular IP set

Thanks

Likely that * is a feature within the ata, I assume you are trying to dial this via the ata connected phone. In the MCD, you can have an alternate code.
