Hi,

We've got a number of Mediatrix 4124's connected to our OSV and have just purchased a few more. Having trudged through setting the boxes up I think I'm pretty much there but wonder if anyones got experience of connecting them in to the OSV, where do you tell it that they exist, that sort of thing?

Probably a long shot I know.

It's actually very simple. You configure the 4124 to connect to the OSV's SIP Signaling Manager IP address(es). The 4124 contains up to 24 E164 (station) numbers, which register with the OSV as SIP Subscribers. When an analog station is physically connected to the proper RJ port, the 4124 converts the SIP to analog and vice versa.
What piece of this eludes you? Can you access your existing 4124 to acquire the necessary info? Please advise - not sure what you need. Don't want to write a book on this!
