I am using CR XI
I am trying to use the Median function in a running total, but I am getting duplicate records in my report that is throwing off the value of the Running Total Median which is in the Report Footer.
I've tried some things to elimnate the duplicate (i.e."Select Distinct Records", different table linking), but I can't get rid of the duplciate records.
Is there a way I can get a Median value using a Group Footer total?

If you know the cause of the dupliactes you can change the evaluate section of running total

Sort records so duplicates are together and then check change of field

Group records so Duplicates are together and then check change of group

Use a formula which defines duplicates eg field1 <> previous(field1)

Thanks Ian!
It worked using the "On Change of Field" option within the running total. I already had everything group and it worked perfectly. I appreciate your helpful response!
