media restore after moving to another server

I have a E450 with a L20 running netbackup 3.4 and an E280 wiht a L180 running netbackup 4.5.

The E450 is a master server and only client. The E280 is the master media server with 5 clients.

We want to remove the L20 from the E450.

My plan is to add the E450 to the E280 as a new client.

1. Should I pkgrm the netbackup pkgs from the E450 or just
disable the startup/shutdown scripts?

2. If I need to restore any of the media made on the E450
to the E280, is it possible?
