I'm using new tapes, new tape drives, when I perform a backup, the log says the job was successful. Later when I need to perform a restore Arcserve device management says that the tape is in an "unrecognizable media format" which will not allow me to restore any files. If I look in arcserves database at the media view it gives all the details of sessions, files, dates and times. I've worked with tech support on this issue to no avail. any help would be appreciated.
