Hello All,
I keep getting the following error message:
Warning: Softwre compression was requested on a
hardware compressing device. Hardware compression will
be used and software compression will be disabled.
Error: An error occured while writing the backup data.
A defective or damaged area was detected on the media.
Please use another media or use the erase menu item to
repair the media. (08--03-23-03-0C00)
I have cleaned the drive, erased and re-initialized the
media and the backup still ends with the above error message. I am using Maxwell HS-4/120s as far as media goes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
