Media Pool newbie!!!

Hi All,

Quick Media Pool question: I need to create a media pool for monthly rotation. I will have 31 tapes in a pool.
My question is: If the database is being pruned every 30 days, will the media pool details remain in the DB?
Or is it better to create 4 weekly pools?

If you uncheck the 'Enable Media Pool Maintenance' the DB pruning will not get rid of the pool details. The checkbox can be found in the Server Admin, under 'Admin', 'Configuration'
