MEDIA PLAYER AND REAL PLAYER playing to fast

Hello ALL!

I have a issue with a Win2k box and playing Media content off of the Internet. Seems that the video and sound is playing to fast. Sounds like Alvin and the Chimpmunks. We have completely wiped out the machine and downloaded the latest Media Player and Real Player and still the issue is there. PLEASE, HELP!

hi there,

I had the same problem, brand new Pentium 4.
The fix for me was to uninstall the application software of the soundcard. All that is needed is the drivers, no apps.
