I was sent a file through email.I used media player 9 to open it but comes up with a message saying that the file is corrupt.I forwaded the email to another user who uses media player 9 and it opened up there.I upgraded my media player 9 to version 10, but it still comes up with the same error message.what is the next step?

How did yoy semd it? Did you forward the original msg? If so try forwarding it ro yourself and playing that,

I am new at this, I install win. XP on a brand new WD 120 GB HD, What is happing to me is my computer reboots after selecting to shut down,it says saving your setting,then says shutting down but restarts again and again, I have to shut the computer off so it does not reboot. Thanks John
 
@John - start your own THREAD... do not post within other peoples THREADS about your PROBLEM, specially if they are TOTALLY unrelated...

@niraj800 - are you using a SPAM filter, if so turn it off... another thing that comes to mind is that maybe your internet settings are not correct... to check them go to the following LINK: There navigate to BROADBAND - TCP/IP ANALYZER...
