Has anyone come across this error
"Error bptm(pid=3396) cannot open file C:\Program Files\VERITAS\NetBackup\db\media\tpreq/T20656, The device has indicated that cleaning is required before further operations are attempted. (1165) - end writing
media open error(83)"
Specs:
- NB 5.1 latest update
- media server installed on Win2003 that is also being used as a file server
- Autoloader HP SSL1016 Ultrium 2(BRAND NEW) latest firmware installed
- Brand new LTO2 tapes (write protect off)
The only thing that I haven't tried is actually putting in a cleaning tape. I don't think I should have too, since it is a brand new autoloader out of the box.
Please don't tell me it is that!
