Media is full

We are using Arcserve2000 on nt and intermittently we get issues where arcserve will hang up jobs because it is looking for blank media when the tape prior is full. Now this does not happen all the time and the job end up hanging there. What I have found that I have to do is remove all used tapes, move the blank ones up and put fresh tapes in. Is there anyone else who has seen this and if so what other things have you done to fix?

I have already tried stopping and starting the tape and job engine to no avail

I've the same problem on Arcserve 6.5. I have found that I must change tape with new tape to resolve this problem.
