I was able to play MP3 files using TMediaPlayer component (DeviceType: AutoSelect). Afair when I updated Media Player on my system to version 10, every time I load an MP3 file to TMediaPlayer component and call Media->Open(); an error message appears stating that:
"Cannot determine the device type from the given filename extension"
...and of course program stops
I tried to set the DeviceType property to every possible value (although imho AutoSelect should do), but it doesn't help. Can you help me to solve this problem? Thanks in advance!
