Media Agent< Blue Arc

We have added a new media agent to the back up system, I see the Media agent listed in the Media Agent group but not listed under computers. Do I need to create a storgae group for this before I can add the UNC path?

If you want to backup a BlueArc filer, you have to configure it doing a Right-click on Client Computers and select New Client. You only see a MediaAgent listed under computers if it has a FileSystem Agent installed.
