Measurement - picas

Hi,
I am a newbee in InDesign. Who can explain the strange kind of double comma style in picas? See. attached image.

...the decimal values right of the "p" are values in points...

...so your horizontal value in points is:

53 x 12 points + 9.45 points = 645.45 points

...there are 12 points in 1 pica...

...with 72 points in an inch, your value is then:

645.45 points divided by 72 = 8.96 inches
