measure the amount of change of data at the block level

Anyone have any ideas on how I can measure the amount of change of data at the block level. I have 2 files that are the same size but some of the data inside is different. I need to know the size/amount of change.

You would need some sort of HEX Dump / Editor to read the files and compare the two.

The File Comparison command has always been built in to Windows via a Command Prompt.

Try FC /? from a Command Prompt for available options.

Purpose: Displays the differences between two files or sets of files.
