I have a surveillance system that allows a user to view a live feed via a web browser. I would like to measure how much bandwidth that stream uses. Besides watching the network monitor in task manager, what other method might I use (with free tools)?
My concern is that the facility is connected to the rest of our network via a T1, so I want to know what kind of impact we might see if I open the system up to viewing outside the facilities local LAN.
