Meaning of install warning: has not been installed?

Hi

I'm having trouble understanding the significance of the libtool warnings (see below).

1. It is not clear why the libraries in question are not being installed.
2. It is not clear whether this can be safely ignored.
3. An examination of the target directory shows entries corresponding to the name of these libraries...

Help greatly appreciated.
