meaning of fields : Group Tax Code (CodeTaxGrp), Swactv

I have a bunch of xml files with AccPac tags,
such as

CODETAXGRP tax group
IDGRP -group id
SWACTV - status (1 active/0 non-active)
DATESTART -start date

I found a SAGE Forms Manual which decyphers them into
english but can one explain what do they mean, or give
a link to a good explanation/tutorial/manual.

I have no previous background in AccPac or accounting.
