I have been building an OLAP cube and I am trying to create a calculated member using the 'SELECT' statement on columns and rows, but I have never had one work. I always get syntax errors even when I completely follow examples. I am getting the same problem through a 3rd party software that creates the syntax for you to create a calculation by extracting data from the cube. Even something as simple as 'Measure + 1' gets syntax errors when trying to run. Can anyone help, have examples, or point me in the right direction. Thanks.
