Hi Guys,
I'm trying to group a set of Products at the same level together as a category of say 'Other'.

Lets say I have the following products all at the same level:
Milk
Chicken
Bread
Fish
Beef
Cheese

I would like to have a named set which returns:
Chicken
Fish
Beef
Bread
- Dairy
Milk
Cheese

I would like to do this without having to modify the hierarchy. I am intending to implement this as a named set or similar (I'm using Dashboard Designer 2007)

Is this possible?

Thanks,

Tom

a named set should accomplish what you are after. I am not familiar with dashboard designer. My exeperience is that whenever you have difficulty doing something on the front end it is usually do to limitations of that tool and not SSAS.

Corerct, the dashboard designer is a bit limited.
I'm curious as to the MDX I would require to achieve this in a named set.
