I have the strangest problem with an Access database that is secured.
We have three user groups defined with specific rights to which we add individual users. In one specific case a single user needs access to a form that no one else in his group needs.
To accomplish this I simply gave him rights to the form, table and query he needed.
Once this was done he somehow gained access to the whole database in read-only mode. I have gone in and removed his rights to all other forms and queries and he still is allowed to open the forms in read-only with the Access warning that "this recordset is not updatetable". HE SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO OPEN THE FORM AT ALL!
I have used the same senerio in other databases with success but am at a loss as to what the problem might be.
Any suggestions??
Thanks in advance
