MDS Connection

I get the following event log error every couple of minutes:

<2008-01-09 17:09:25.367 GMT>:[588]:<MDS-CS_SERVER1_MDS-CS_1>:<EVENT>:<LAYER = SRP, server lost SRP connection with UID S99288327 due to java.io.EOFException>

What is causing this?

As a guess, have you made sure you have enabled port 1433 access?
