I have an option 11c. W/ a MDR 2000 buffer box. I think that it is all set up correctly butttt I see calls go across screen and the lights flicker on the MDR 2000 when the call is complete but the box will not keep the call in memory. The number of records stored is 000000. I think that I am missing something. Can anyone help?

The Buffer box is there just in case something happens to your pc. the problem sounds like it is in the software. Which software are you running?

We are using MAT. I am dialed into the buffer box and the call counters are at zero when I stat the mdr 2000. there is a mode that I can see the calls come across my screen when the call is completed but the box does not retain the call. This causes the software not to have any data to download.

Use the "Open Link" command to see the raw data from switch. Possible MDR is not seeing data correctly (if buad rate to switch is wrong - etc.
If raw data looks like garbage - check the setup for the PBX link. If raw data looks ok - use the "Status" command to view the setup and make sure collection is set to yes.
