mdi child from a .dll

I have a main project with an MDI form. I would really like to have several other projects (dlls), each with an MDI child form that pops up into the parent project's MDI parent form.

It looks like this isn't possible, but does anyone think there's a way it can be done?

I'd like to avoid combining everything into one huuge project. My alternative is UserControls for each of my child components, but those are kind of weird sometimes.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
