You can't add new reports to an MDE file since reports can (like forms) have modules of VBA attached. Since making an MDE file compiles all your db's VBA, you can't add a new report, even if the report you want to add wouldn't have any VBA in it.
You can make some design changes to tables and queries in an MDE but that's about it. Really it's far better to keep an uncompiled (i.e. MDB) copy of your db for development purposes.![[pc2]](/data/assets/smilies/pc2.gif "[pc2] [pc2]")
