MDE file

All of a sudden my database will not let me create an MDE file. Access hangs forever before I manually shut it down. I have modified the database but can't find the problem. Does anyone have any ideas as to why I can't create the MDE file now? BTW, I am in 2002-2003 format.

Compile error in VBA? (Most likely in my view)

Lack of disk space where db and MDE are? (Possible)
