mdc cube pwssword reset

dear all, about 4 months ago we removed an old AD domain, we migrated some servers, but not all serveers. One of this server that we did not migrated(they told us they dont need it any more) was an old 7,3 cognos server. unfortunately we now need the cubes, we have about 10 cubes .mdc files about 2GB each. the problem is that they are name space secured and cannot be opened any more, we tried everything. I would like to know if there is any way to remove the security from the mdc file cube and to open them with power play client. thank you in advanced

AFAIK, you can't remove the link to the namespace from the cube, so if you just want access, you'll either need to recreate the environment on a server from a back-up (you did keep a back-up, image, right?) or use a .LAE file (again, from your back-up) in a local powerplay client (no server). To go forward with unsecured cubes, you'll be needing to get out the transformer models and rebuild.
