Got this rediculous error message on a SBS2003 server as a pop up window:
"Data Execution Prevention. To help protect your computer, Windows has closed this program:
Microsoft MDB Store
Data Execution Prevention helps protect against damage from viruses or other threats. Some programs may not run correctly when it is turned on. For an update version of this program contact the publisher."
There is the following error in the event log:
"Applicaton Error
Event ID: 1000
Faulting application store.exe version 6.5.7226.3, faulting module savexms.dll, version2.0.0.15, fault address 0x0002f188."
I had the option to change settings and excluded the information store from the DEP in future BUT....
Can anyone tell me why this happened?
I can see why the hell this would try and close down the information store on a server for £$%^ sake!!
