hi All
A while back, I installed the connectivity components on one of our terminal servers by using the normal SQL Server 7 install wizard and the system works fine.
Yesterday, MDAC was installed by running the MDAC_TYP.EXE instead from the same SqlServer CD, but we get an 'Ordinal...' error message when the app starts - app seems to run okay after that though.
Some of the DLL's are older on the new Term server.
Q: Is there no way of running the SS7 setup (keep getting 'ODBC files readonly or in use' message) or am I going to have to do what it says in MS knowledge Base (Q216149)?
The server has been rebooted but still says files are in use or RO. Why? there isn't anything I know of or can see that could be using ODBC.
