Hello,

Similar to my recent post on the SX2000 I now have to look at MD110 BC12 SMDR. I have two rather terse specifications; one for BC11 and the other for BC12. Although there is reference to 'A' and 'B' parties in the documentation the Output Format does not refer to these. Are they the Calling Number and Dialled Number respectively? Also would these be Extensions for outgoing/incoming/internal calls? Would the Calling Number be the OLI for an incoming PSTN call? Sorry for all the questions but the specifications are rather limited!

Also does anyone have a comprehensive BC12 SMDR specification they could let me have? Example data would also be extremely useful.

Many thanks,

Correct!

It depends.....if the output is defined to log "all" calls, then yes the calling number field would contain internal ext. #'s for outbound and internal calls.

For inbound calls, the calling number field will have an external number *if* the incoming route is ISDN/Qsig and the calling party info is actually received by the switch.
If it's an analog or something other than ISDN route, then the calling party field will have a trunk circuit ID (9 digit LIM/Route/Trunk.)

In certain circumstances, yes.

The MD has several different output formats that can be selected (along with 3 flexible formats in which you put anything you want) when initiating an SMDR output. The number of fields and the content of each field, the field length, and overall length of a call record are somewhat dependent on which output format is used.

Find someone close who has ALEX and by them a beer or 3 in exchange for access to the extra facility : Call Information Logging, CL & ED.

Good luck,
