Has anyone out there used an outboard converter to connect G/L PCM links via the internet? Also, is there an inboard MD110 card to do the same on BC11?

Well,PCM-link through ATM switch i have done it. Still is via IP but is a permenant connection with configure by the ATM switch supplier. On MD side the GJUL and GJUG both are connected to the E1 card at the ATM swtich.

Hallo,

1. There is no card in BC11 for this function
2. You can not use the classic "Internet" as a carrier for a PCM-Line.
3. You can use your LAN as carrier. You need for example IP-Mux from the manufacturer Rath. G703/704 will be conerted in IP. But for one 2MB-Line you should have at least 2,5MB fixed reserved bandwith. PCM-Line does not accept any delays.
