MD110 PBX BC12, trying to determine how to set CRC-16 or CRC-MF for an E1 Qsig line.
In the RODAP command, can't find values for TYPE and VAR.
How and where can I find out what the values for TYPE and VARC, VARI, & VARO mean? The description under RODAP says:

For interpretation of TYPE value, consult parameter descrip for relevant application system, which will be found in separate AS-binder

For interpretation of the VARC, VARI, & VARO, consult parameter description for relevant function block TL, which will be found in separate AS-binder

Where exactly are they referring to?

Expertise in Avaya, Rolm/Siemens, Mitel, Nortel, NEC, Alcatel, Toshiba, Aspect, Ericsson, Executone, Panasonic PBXs & KSUs

Hi,

RODAP parameters are market dependend.

So in alex :

go to "application system " (AS)

then choose correct AS
choose "External lines"
choose "Parameter Description"
if you want to know parameters for ISDN (SLP60 & TLP60)
choose TL60 for VARC and SL60 for VARI & VARO
