Hi, I have recently completed training in MD110 Ericsson and am currently usine BC12 software. Instructors gave instructions to change the 'additional category' number as 00000000010 ( we can only have 11 digits here)to show the caller's ID to callee. this does not work however. Any further suggestions ast what i could review to get this to work? thanks in advance from a new trainer.

Hi Sonicluna
I have a BC12 and use DNA So I just open the extension & on aditional cat it shows 14 "0"s & I change the 5th from the left to a one. otherwise the command is
KSCAC:DIR=xxxx,00000000010000(enter)
I take your point that you only have 11 digits is it a digital extension or analogue? as analogue has less digits I think the command for an analogue is EXCAC:Dir=xxxx,001000000 But I am not sure
regards

Cheers Brian

thanks for that, the line is digital but still has only11 digits. Our instructions say to change position 10 to a 1 for the callee to see the handset number or 0 to see our main switchboard number. the only other alteration shown in the instructins was for position 4 to be either 0 for never show number or 1 for always show number. Thank you very much for your response and I will check throught the settings again. If you can think of anything else, please let me know. ;-)
