Hello all,

Im not sure what the trace code for a malicious call is on an analog set. How do you prt/chg it?

thanks,
Nick

CLS MCTA

I think this is it (but it is in the feature guide under "M")

Hookflash, then dial SPRE+83 (Or define a MCT code in LD57)

what do i put in LD 57 to retrieve the code?

Please refer to the books. It's best if you simply follow that procedure rather than here all the variations here.

Step one, go to LD 57
Step two, look in the book to see the possible responses.

It is easiest to do REQ PRT and hit enter to see what it asks. At CODE, type ALL

ok, i have changed the code in ld 57:

REQ prt
TYPE ffc
CUST 0
CODE mtrc
CUST 00
FFCT NO
MTRC *57

I also ensured that the TN was programmed with cls: MCTA, but still not showing up on the MAP when i test call it.

Do you mean it does not show up on the printer when you are 1) on an active call, 2) hookflash and dial *57

Is the printer set to receive these? I'd go through all the Implementation Procedures in the Feature Guide (book with "M") Here are the books: http://www.ghtrout.com/micromerl/index.html
