I have been studying with smartcertify since Feb for my mcse and I am getting nowhere fast, Does anyone reccomend a good IT training company,

I should really get my money back off Smartcertify but I know what they`ll say,

Im really keen to get this MCSE by next year, Its Home study courses Im after...

You're best bet is to get a couple machines and some books. Build yourself a little test network and play as you read. From what I've seen of Tech Schools, they are a waste of money! <Speaking from experience, unfortunately>

Depends on where you live there are &quot;boot camp schools&quot; that will take tyou thru the paces and get you ready for the exams. If you go that route make sure that they have labs with banks of machines that you can set up and use.And make sure the instructors are MCT and certified. And practice practice practice.

bootcamps require staying at a (usually) expensive hotel for 5-14 days... not cost effective unless your employer pays and you can take that much time away from your on-call duties...

My experience is that they do help pass tests for people who have the hands-on experience...

for much less than $2000 you can buy a couple of older PCs off ebay, get the eval software from MS, and buy a bunch of well-recommended study guides (MS Press, Sybex, New Riders, etc.)

YMMV; but it worked for me...
