Hi,

I am planning to get certified for MCSD. So I am preparing to get books for this cert. Which author's book is the best for MCSD cert and which publisher is best for MCSD cert.

Please recommend which books to buy for my preparation for the cert.

I'm assuming you are talking .NET MCSD. Kalani (author) has a few good ones on Windows and Web programming, but they are centered around C#. I believe the publisher is SAMS.

I also think the WROX Professional series are good preparation. Wrox Professional VB.NET, etc.

I used the QUE books.
Example ISBN:- 07-7897-2818-4

What ever you do, do not use the standard Microsoft books.
For the MCAD .NET case I found them very poor.
All other microsoft books I've used on other exams since have however been OK.
