I've spent the last couple of years taking various MCP's with an eye to eventually passing my MCSA. I have now finished all of the required modules and have all of the individual pieces of paper (just an A4 sheet from the test center) to confirm this but should i receive something from MS confirming that they all add up to an MCSA?

I've taken:

70-210
70-215
70-218
70-271
70-272
70-271/272 make the MCDST elective.

Thanks.

pinkpanther56,

Does your MCP transcript show your most recent exam? Sometimes it can take up to a week for Microsoft to coordinate with the testing center.

Once that happens, if you have achieved MCSA certification, you should receive an email from Microsoft informing you of this, and advising you to order a new welcome kit.

At least, that's what happened when I passed the last exam for my MCSE: Security last week.

Yeah, I had to send for them a few weeks back.
You log into your MCP site, then go to Program Benefits in the navigation on the left, then into Welcome Kits and Certificates, at the bottom of that page it should give you the option to order your MCSe welcome pack.
That's as long as your latest exam is appearing on your transcript.

Congrats by the way!

Thanks Paul i found the area and appled for them and they show on my transcript this morning, i'm sure it just arrived automatically when i became an MCP but that was nearly three years ago.

Thanks anyway guys.

I think I had my first one back in 2003 and I can definitely remember having to go and order it myself.
Fingers crossed I'll be ordering the MCSE one this week.
Thinking of just booking it and doing the last exam, fed up of studying now )

You have to order each one from the mcp site. It's a pain that it's not automatic, but they want you to validate your address before sending your cert to someone who didn't earn it.
