Mcr key some times when picked gives dead air

There is a MCR keys on 15 extensions and when one person makes a conference call.The other users can user the MCR key and listen to the conference.

some times there is dead air if some users pick up.

can anyone advise? Cls has POA,FTTU/FTTC.

First I have never seen once a call is answered on a MCR key that you could go to another phone with a MCR key push it and go into a Conference Call, you should get dialtone.

thats how it works.the issue is not consistent.

I would out all of the tns and rebuild. If you don't want to do that get your tech support on the phone. Mcr does not work the way you are describing.

That's what I maintain, once that call is answered the only one that has that call and control of that call is the person that answered it.

I concur, as if thats means anything to you guys lol, that an MCR rings all sets and once picked up can't be picked up from another set unless its parked or transfered

Can you give us a print out of one of the phones and point out which key you are reffering to?
