I passed 70-270 with 905 yesterday and am looking forward to logging into the MCP site.

How long on average does it take for the MCP validation email to be sent from MS?

It really depends on how long before the testing facility takes to upload the results. I've seen it as quickly as 2 days and as long as a week. If it goes more than a week, send an e-mail to your local regional office (see the contact info on the MCP Site). I had to do that with one of mine and they got me the e-mail within a couple hours. They needed my MCP ID, Address I used to take test and the Testing Center ID.

Well I am sure the test center uploaded the results to Pearson Vue as its now saying I have passed on the Pearson Vue website.

If Pearson's site is showing it, then I'd give it about 48 hours. If you don't get one by then, go out to the MCP website and there's a point where it gives you a link to the Regional Office. Send them an e-mail and they will help you.

I don't know if it's the same as other test centre;s but mine upload stuff on a friday, so you may be waiting up to 6 days or as little a 1 depending on when the test is.

Its ok I got the emails last night and can now access the MCP site.

BTW anyone know how long it takes before the comptia certifcates show on the MCP transcript or Certification planner after notifying MS using the form on Comptias site?

just FYI,

I never got an email from MS - Had to call them and use some of the info off of the sheet from the VUE print-out.
