i am going to network my first two bcms using h323 trunking (8 trunks). how many mcd keycodes are needed?

i mcdn keycode is all you can have on a bcm. either it is there or not.

What do you mean by Network?

If your talking about VOIP Trunks and calling between them you don't need MCDN Keycode.




This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Sales people normally include MCDN keycode to prepare for
whatever it offers either you use it or not.

will use h323 trunks to connect both sites. For CDP is the MCDN keycode needed? (4 digit dialing between the sites)

i've always used mcdn for centralized vm to a cp

You only need MCDN for centralized voicemail apps, or if you need/want to carry full name display between a BCM and a CS1000. For 4 digit dialing between BCM's only it's not needed, but won't hurt anything to have.
