MCDN/QSIG license

Hi, I am designing a BCM50 release 3 with SIP trunk which will be connect to CS1k rls 5 using SIP trunks, Do i also need to select the following license to make SIP trunking of BCM50 works with CS1K??

"BCM50 MCDN and QSIG voice networking electronic authorization licens-NTKC0600"

Or is it for someother connectivity beside SIP.

You should have this if you intend for your BCM to register to a gatekeeper.
