Guys, any idea of when Mitel will release MCD6 and the UCA client for smart phones. I had heard that this was going to be released aroud december 2012, however I haven't seen any signs of this on MOL. Please coment

last I heard was Q1 2013 , possibly late Jan .

They want to synchronise the versions MCD 6 UCA 6 MAS 6

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Ht iCal lint for smart phones are you after? You know you can get them now? What functionality were you looking for in particular?

MCD 6 is coming in the new year. What you are looking for is UCA 5.1. UCA 5.1 is supposed to have the smart phone client with the built in SIP client. Least thats what I assume you are looking for. That will give the ability to flip form the cell network to wifi pretty much on the fly. It is also supposed to be early January.

Think the other thing I am interested in with UCA 5.1 is that supposed to simplify licensing by tying your desktop UCA, iphone and ipad client all into one license. Think thats partly because of the embedded SIP. Without it you would need an MBG license for the UCA softpone, and iphone and a ipad when in teleworker mode.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

No problem. Have a customer interested in UCA 5.1 as well. Think that upgrade might acutally make the product useful. :)
