Was wondering what individual licenses (or what used to be individual licenses) are bundled under an "MCD Standard License" (Mitel 54004976).

I think it replaces what used to be:
52001251 (AMC)3300 IP DESKTOP/WIRELESS LICENCE

(for us it does anyway)

Mitel published a Technology Primer on licensing in Jan. 2009, but I couldn't find anything publicly available that is more recent.

MCD standard license can only be applied to systems on MCD 4.1 or higher with a 'standard' base package. This will is the equivelant of the old user license, however, because in 4.1 you know longer require device licenses the best way I can explain it is that this license allows a user to be associated with a set (or created as a hotdesk user etc).

There is a Licensing Technology Primer on MOL from February 2010.

A standard license is one user for a Standard base package and will not be able to be resiliant. Any pre 4.1 switch with IP trunking wil become a Enterprize package after.
