Has anyone tried to use the Unified IP Client (Sun Ray), with a device-only hotdesk station on MCD 4.1?? The reason I'm asking is because the network port is disabled on 4.1 if no user is logged in.. but when the smart card is inserted into the sun ray client, it has to be on the network to establish a connection to the server. I know this will be resolved in SP2 when they take the block off the device-only network port, but that's not out yet and I have one of these going in this week.. Any answers given are much appreciated..
