I have about 100 out of 5000 machines that report back that they have NO AV. When looking into it, it seems to be working fine except for what it reports back to EPO. The only problem I found was in the Event Log:

The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( McAfeeFramework ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer.

Any thoughts? Just need to find out why it reports NO AV when even the DAT file is up to date from the EPO server.

Try this (same error on NetShield 4.5):

Solution 1 (Netshield 4.5):
From the NetShield console, choose Tools | Alerts...
The On-Access Scanner and the On Demand Scanner can be configured separately.
Centralized alerting should also be disabled, this is done from Start | Programs | Network Associates | Alert Manager Configuration. Click on the 'Centralized Alert' tab and make sure the 'Enable centralized alerts' box is not checked.
Click on the 'Network Message' tab and the 'Logging' tab from within the Alert Manager Configuration screen and delete all systems set to receive broadcasts.

...or try to reinstall ePO agent again.

check your alert manager policy on ePO server and client are the same.

good look!!
